GOOD MORNING STUDENTS,                                                             29TH APRIL 2020   

  For the worksheet that you will receive based on this chapter,you need to write only the answers in the notebook in case you can't take a printout.For those who can take a printout you may paste it in your CW notebook.
I will be taking an online test of this chapter tomorrow.Revise the chapter well.              
  

 1. Give examples which indicate that nylon fibres are very strong.

2. Explain why plastic containers are favoured for storing food.

 3. Explain the difference between thermoplastic and thermosetting plastics.

4. Explain why the following are made of thermosetting plastics.

(a) Saucepan handles
(b) Electric plugs/switches/plug boards

Q6. Why is a plastic a material of choice   ?

 Q7. Plastic is used for making large variety of articles of daily use and these articles are
      very attractive .But it is advised to avoid the use of plastics as far as possible .Why?
